Careers

Resolutor Legal Support is growing its small team of people who provide plain‑English legal information and practical document support on unreserved matters. Much of our work is delivered to business clients on bespoke dispute resolution retainers that run monthly on a rolling basis. The equine and equestrian sector is one of our established specialities, so you will see plenty of yard, sale and professional‑services context—alongside broader consumer and contract files. If you are interested in a trainee legal adviser role in that setting—with no expectation that you arrive as a qualified lawyer—we would like to hear from you.

Vacancy: trainee legal information adviser

Type: Fixed‑term role, intended to run for approximately one year, subject to satisfactory performance and business need.
Location / pattern: To be agreed at interview (we can discuss hybrid or remote‑first arrangements where they fit the work).
Pay: Particulars on application (POA). This is an entry‑level trainee package, not a solicitor salary. We will discuss pay, hours and holiday with you at interview and confirm the terms in any written offer, in line with applicable statutory minima and holiday requirements.

Full training is offered. You will receive structured onboarding and ongoing coaching on how we explain the law in plain English, how we use our document frameworks, how disputes and agreements tend to surface across our instructions (including our equine specialities), typical consumer and contract issues and the professional boundaries of an unreserved legal information service—including recognising when a matter must be handed to a regulated solicitor. You are not expected to carry out reserved legal activities or to hold yourself out as a solicitor.

You might be a good fit if you write clearly, handle detail calmly, can empathise with people under stress and are willing to learn. Experience with horses, the equestrian industry or complaints in regulated or consumer settings is helpful but not essential; attitude and reliability matter more.

How to apply: Send a CV and a short covering letter (one side of A4 is enough) using the same contact channel you would use for client enquiries, marked Careers — trainee adviser. If you do not have a direct address, ask for an introduction through a mutual contact, as described in our site footer.

What we are (and are not)

Resolutor Legal Support is an independent legal information and document‑support service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide reserved legal services and we are not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. This role supports that model; it does not qualify you automatically for reserved work or for use of the title “solicitor”.
